Organizer Interview with Konstantin Kleber
What initially drew you to TEDx?
I was inspired by the vision of creating a local hub for tech entrepreneurs in the Rhein-Neckar region — a place for exchange, sharing best practices, and finding inspiration. TEDx offers the perfect platform to bring together curious minds and foster a vibrant community of innovation.
What transformative idea do you hope to share or inspire?
I want to inspire people to embrace new technologies, learn from the best, and grow together — connecting entrepreneurs who are navigating similar challenges and growth stages. Sharing experiences with peers who understand these struggles can make a huge difference — it’s about building a network of mutual support and collective progress.
What does “ideas worth spreading” mean to you personally?
For me, it means ideas that truly improve people’s lives in a positive way. I’m especially passionate about psychology, personal development within companies, and coaching. I believe these areas will profoundly shape the next decades, particularly as large language models (LLMs) and multidimensional models revolutionize how we communicate about our challenges and emotional experiences.
What potential impact do you see TEDx having in Heidelberg and beyond?
According to the Next Generation Report 2024, Heidelberg ranks among the top 10 cities for start-up activity in Germany1 — right behind Munich and Berlin, in an impressive fifth place. Given the city’s relatively small size, this is a remarkable achievement. Heidelberg is home to many ambitious tech companies, and TEDx can offer them a platform to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss both technological trends and entrepreneurial challenges.
What unique value does our local TEDx bring to the community?
Heidelberg is a colorful, diverse place where people from all over the world come together, working side by side regardless of their backgrounds. TEDx Heidelberg embodies these values — connecting people, building bridges, and creating something greater than any one of us could achieve alone.
