Tabea Isabelle von Grünewaldt is a Creative Director, Writer and Producer. She is a German-born creative director, writer, and producer specialising in children's media. She is the founder of TIRI ENTERTAINMENT, a Heidelberg-based production company focused on animated films, educational games, and international co-productions. Additionally, she co-founded HETI MEDIA Ltd. in New Zealand, bridging storytelling across continents.
Tabea holds a diploma in screenwriting and directing from Berlin’s Wave Academy and is currently expanding her storytelling into the world of children’s books. With over nine years of experience in the New Zealand and Australian film industries, Tabea has contributed to notable productions such as Power Rangers Dino Charge and The Shannara Chronicles. Her screenwriting talents have been recognised internationally, with two feature-length scripts reaching the screenwriting competitions at Cannes.
Beyond her creative endeavours, Tabea is committed to empowering women in the film industry. She serves as the representative for Women in Film & Television (WIFT) Germany in the southwest region and is a committee member of the Heidelberg International Professional Women's Forum (HIPWF e.V.), an organization dedicated to connecting and empowering female professionals in Heidelberg and the greater Rhein-Neckar Region.
