What initially drew you to TEDx? 

The opportunity to learn from many professionals in an entertaining manner. I align with how TEDx sets certain guidelines and standards with the intention of getting the best out of their speakers, both in terms of content and delivery. Furthermore, I am always interested in watching how each individual speaks, regardless of the topic they are talking about.

What transformative idea do you hope to share or inspire? 

Through this event, I hope to share the idea of embracing the expertise of others and implementing points that can be relevant into your own life. Attending an event like this can prove to be serendipitous in unimaginable ways. Perhaps you would consider exploring a field that you would have never thought of before.

How has TEDx changed your perspective on innovation? 

Everyone is capable of innovation; it just requires careful thought and thorough pursuit. TEDx has shown me the global extent to which everyone has a unique idea and story, and how everyone can make an impact even on a relatively smaller scale. Innovation does not need to be a headline story or complete disruptor.

Why did you choose to be part of the organizing team? 

Having spoken at a TEDx event myself, I left with a positive impression filled with diverse insights. Additionally, I established many professional connections who assisted me in personal ventures along the way. When I got the offer to work on organising this TEDx event, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to create my similar experiences for many others.

What does "ideas worth spreading" mean to you personally? 

An idea supported by facts and opinions, structured and delivered in a comprehensible manner, that has the power to drive a positive change in the lives of at least a few people. The broad phrase encompasses the holistic but diverse nature of ideas. It is simple, yet captivating.

What collaborative opportunities do you see emerging from our event?

As this event places a heavy emphasis on networking possibilities, I foresee many opportunities to meet experts from a variety of different fields. The collaboration is the next step, where these different fields agree to pursue a common goal that is mutually beneficial for both parties. After collaboration, I see a vision of long-term contact.
